Watercolours, oils, acrylics and pastels - commissions considered.

I am a local artist living near Cramond in Edinburgh, Scotland. My work is mainly of the surrounding area, and I have had a number of exhibitions in Scottish local galleries since beginning to paint about 5 years ago.

I prefer to paint in watercolour, but recently have begun to develop my skills in oils and pastels. Examples of my work can be seen on this web site. Over the years almost all of my work has sold, at prices between £80 and £240, and have I invested the proceeds in creating three open-edition prints which can be seen on the following pages. Two are of Cramond, and a larger one is of a herd of elephants emerging from the bush. I also have a number of original paintings for sale, which can be sent to you framed, or mount-only. My ambition is to make enough money from selling my prints and paintings to eventually get to Africa to paint elephants in the wild.

"Lossiemouth Blue", from an original pastel, shows my home town of Lossiemouth in Northeast Scotland as the camera film recorded it on New Years' Eve 1997.

My home town of Lossiemouth has always provided inspiration for me - stunning sunsets and sunrises, like this one painted for a friend.

The previous 12 months have seen my first sale from this web site, only 3 months after it became live!
